The 2nd Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell Industry Development Summit and the 1st International Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell Technology and Product Expo Foshan, China were held at Nanhai Thoughsand Lantern Lake, Foshan, Guangdong Province on Dec 6-9, 2017. Snowman, with its air supply compressors of AUTOROTOR (Sweden) and fuel cell technology of HYDROGENICS (Canada), was present at this Expo.
The theme of the Expo was Hydrogen Industry-Hydrogen Life-Hydrogen Future. It was jointly sponsored by China National Institute of Standardization and ISO/TC 197. CHFC2017 was the first Hydrogen Energy Week of China, which served as the platform for exchange, study and cooperation in both domestic and global hydrogen energy industry, and also as the stage on which the most advanced technologies and products of hydrogen energy and fuel cells were displayed and the relevant applications were demonstrated. The Expo sponsors also provided 20 forums and discussion panels, attracting more than a thousand people from the industry. The Expo, with its 5,000m2 floor space, entertained 60 plus companies and enterprises.
Snowman was present at the Expo with air supply compressors and technology of AUTOROTOR (Sweden) and fuel cell stack and technology of HYDROGENICS (Canada).
On Dec 6, Foshan local government officials and hydrogen energy experts, professors and other professional people visited the booth of Snowman, and they all gave high regards to the products and technology of Snowman.
In 2015, Snowman successfully acquired SRM and OES with full ownership, the two core businesses of OPCON. Since 1990, OPCON started to research and develop air supply system of the fuel cells. It has rich experiences in design and production of twin-rotor screw compressors, and it also owns AUTOROTOR, the brand product of air supply system for fuel cells. It has provided fuel cell air circulation systems to fuel cell company Ballard Power Systems and auto makers such as General Motors, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Honda, Ford, etc. It also participated in Clean Urban Transport for Europe by providing 27 fuel-cell-powered buses, which have been still running since 2006, totaling more than 3 million km.
HyPM-HD30 power module from HYDROGENICS is characterized with easy integration, high reliability, and high efficiency. With its overall performance, it shows its leadership in the industry. It has been widely used by Foton Motor, Yutong, etc.
